Daryle A. Crowder, age 61, of Centerville, Iowa, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Golden Age Care Center in Centerville.
He was born in Indiana on January 14, 1957, the son of Jerry and Loretta (Onder) Crowder.
Throughout his lifetime, Daryle held numerous jobs. Most recently, he was employed with Rick King Landscaping in Centerville.
Daryle was an avid pool player for much of his life. He enjoyed playing pool with both family and friends, along with playing in competitive pool leagues. He also spent many years engaging in automobile body work. Moreover, in his earlier years, Daryle enjoyed working on classic cars. He also liked watching movies in his free time. Most importantly, Daryle loved people. He never met a stranger and therefore, built many friendships throughout his lifetime. Daryle loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them.
He is survived by his son, David (Megan) Suckow of Carlisle, Iowa; two nieces, Crystal (Anthony) Ruth of Centerville, Iowa and Starla Clemens (Alan Huisman) of Centerville, Iowa; a brother-in-law, Dave Clemens of Centerville, Iowa; four grandchildren, Daniel, Nathan, Lydia, and Mia all of Carlisle, Iowa; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
Daryle was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Lorrie Clemens and a niece, Candy Clemens.
According to his wishes, cremation has been accorded and there are no scheduled services at this time. Memorials have been established to the family of Daryle A.
