Bonnie Hall, age 89, of Centerville, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Golden Age Care Center in Centerville.
Bonnie was born on February 17, 1929 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Sam and Helga (Almquist) Henderson. She graduated from Cincinnati High School with the Class of 1946. She was united in marriage to Max Hall on December 1, 1946 in Los Angeles, California. From this union, two children were born, Shirley and Kimberlee.
Bonnie's was first hired as a clerk at Devine in California, but her favorite job was at Gambles Department Store as Alden's Catalog Clerk. She enjoyed playing Bingo, quilting, and watching the Cardinals play. She was very active in the Cincinnati PEO for many years. Moreover, Bonnie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Bonnie and Max often traveled, and loved to go to Texas, or any southern state, especially if they had her favorite food, Fried Chicken. The couple lived in numerous places including California, Cincinnati, Iowa, Great Falls, Montana, Honolulu, Hawaii, Topeka, Kansas, Newfoundland, Canada, and then settled again in Cincinnati.
Left to cherish Bonnie's memory are her daughters, Shirley (Dave) Miller of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and Kim (Dennis) Exline of Centerville, Iowa; two grandchildren, Derik Exline and Rachel (Brad) Ryals; two great grandchildren, Ryker and Rigby Ryals; a brother, Bucky (Mary) Henderson of Centerville, Iowa; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Hall; her parents, Sam and Helga Henderson; and her siblings, Myrtle Glascock, and Frances Henderson.
Private Graveside services will be held. Lange Funeral Home and Crematory of Centerville have been entrusted with caring for Bonnie's family.
