Charles E. Carman, age 80, of Unionville, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018 at the Putnam County Hospital.
Charles was born on June 2, 1938 in Hartford, Missouri, the son of John and Lady Mable (Hopkins) Carman. He was united in marriage to Judy Kay Knapp. She preceded him in death. He then married Joan C. Boehlke. She also preceded him in death.
Charles was a Jack of all trades. He was a truck driver, a farmer and also worked for Dotson and Davis Logging. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and being with his family.
Left to honor Charles’ memory are his children, Randy (Penny) Carman, Gary (Marilyn) Carman, Marcy (Lyman) Major, Stacy (Cache) Davis, and Patrick (Tracy) Carman; a step son, George Carman; four sisters, Lela, Kathy, Joan, and Ann; fifteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mable Carman; his first wife, Judy Kay Carman; his second wife, Joan C. Carman; a daughter, Pamela K. Carman; a son, Charles E. Carman; eight brothers; two sisters; a grandson, Adam; and a great grandson, Laden.
Per Charles wishes, cremation has been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00PM, Saturday September 22, 2018 at the Hartford Baptist Church in Hartford, Missouri with Pastor Jeff Harlan officiating.
