Debra "Debbie" Foglesong, age 65, of Centerville, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at her home.
Debbie was born on March 23, 1952 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Richard Irvin and Esther Mae (Morris) Sample. She graduated from East High School in Des Moines. She continued her education at Indian Hills Community College, earning her Associates degree. She was united in marriage to Bobbie Foglesong. From this union, two children were born, Kyle and Kip. They later divorced.
After college, Debbie started working as an Administrative Assistant at Mahaska Health Partnership. Later, she became the Office Administrator, where she spent numerous years in the office, until her retirement. She enjoyed doing Genealogy and Crocheting. She loved spending time with her son, Kip and his wife, Danielle, her grandchildren, her grandpuppies, and all of her friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her son, Kip (Danielle) Foglesong of Colfax, Iowa; her grandchildren, Isabelle Foglesong and Kane Foglesong; her grandpuppies, Chevy and Bear; a sister, Diane (Andy) Williams; her brothers, David (Lisa) Sample, and Doug Sample; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Esther Sample; a son, Kyle Foglesong; and a brother, Denny Sample.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4PM, Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Brian Hargrave officiating. A visitation will take place Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 1-4 at Lange Funeral Home in Centerville.
