MOTHER - KNOW THY NAME
How do you put into words the sum of a remarkable life? To those who loved her and were loved by her, she was our heart and soul. She loved her flowers and her garden. She had a lifelong passion for any type of music genre and old movies and musicals, so now she can spend all her days dancing on cloud nine and singing aloud with joy - forever free of pain and suffering.
And we, the ones she leaves behind, we will remember a mother who adored us, supported us, and meant the world to us.
Ella Marie Seals Sayre Richmond was the beloved daughter of Della and Aubry Seals - her parents who have already gone ahead of her to paradise, and were waiting to greet her joyously upon her passing, as well as her sister Angela Ray Kuehlem. Ella, in turn, will be waiting for the day when she will see her loved ones again - her brothers Tim and Jim Seals, along with Jim's wife Robyn. It will be a family reunion when Julie Seals, Gary Kuehlem, and all her beloved nieces and nephews eventually join her in God's house forever.
Her children - Mark, Michele, Eric, and Diana Sayre will hold her dearly in our hearts all the rest of the days of our lives, and we are sure to see her in our dreams. Her grandchildren - Isabel and Gabriel - will have pleasant dreams of lullabies sung to them by her.
Our mom was all about love and heart. She tried to give her children the world - as much as she was able. If you want to know the true meaning of what a mother is, then look up the word and our mother's name will be in the definition, along with patience, selflessness, self sacrifice, understanding, and tons of love.
Ella departed this physical world on April 4, 2018, at 69 years of age. Even though we can no longer see her, that does not mean she has left us forever. She will be in our hearts always and when we need her most, she will only ever be a thought away and with us in spirit always.
If you want to pay her your respects and wish her a final goodbye, then you may attend her funeral service at 3PM, Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with Father Bill Hubmann officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Centerville. A visitation will take place Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Lange Funeral Home in Centerville with family greeting friends from 1-3PM. Memorials have been established to the Ella Richmond Memorial and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544. Condolences may be shared online at www.langefh.com.
Remember, she would not want us to grieve for her, but instead we should celebrate her life and the joy she brought to each of us.
