Timothy Dale Pasa, age 50, of Centerville, Iowa, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018.
Tim was born on August 4, 1967 in Centerville, Iowa, the son of Joseph and Pauline (Smith) Pasa. He graduated from Centerville High School with the Class of 1985. He continued his education at Buena Vista University, earning his Bachelor's degree in Human Services.
Tim had many passions in his life, the main ones were his kids, and playing the guitar. Tim was a gifted guitarist, playing for numerous bands throughout southern Iowa, including Stormfront, Astroglide, and most recently, Jennifer Lynn Handling and Revolution. Tim loved to take his children to concerts. He enjoyed watching all sports, whether they were on television or he was watching his kids play. He was very fond of the Raiders and the Cardinals. He was an avid collector. He had a full collection of action figurines and comic books.
Tim worked as an EMT for several years. He then worked at Lockridge for some time. Most recently, Tim was employed through Alliant Energy in Centerville.
Left to honor Tim's memory are his children, Owen Pasa of Centerville and Kate Pasa of Centerville; his mother-in-law, Alice McClure of Centerville; his siblings, Cheryl (Larry) Villines of San Antonio, Texas, Dan (Robyn) Pasa of Kirksville, Missouri, and John (Kathy) Pasa of Mystic; his dog, Dori; sisters-in-law, Linda Pasa of Norwalk, Iowa, Carole (Larry) Brown of Seymour, and Joyce (Donnie) Davis of Seymour; brothers-in-law, Jerry (Cheryl) Bennett of Blue Grass, Iowa, Jim Bennett of Anamosa, Iowa, and Roger (Lynn) Bennett of Walcott, Iowa.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Pauline Pasa; a brother, Joey Pasa; and a nephew, Luca Pasa.
A Celebration of Tim's Life will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the Faith United Methodist Church with Pastor Christy Ehrle officiating. A visitation will take place Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 3-8PM, with family greeting friends from 5-8PM, at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville.
