Ronald Eugene Glick, age 74, of Moravia, Iowa passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020.
He was born in Liberty Center, Iowa on March 24, 1946, the son of Kenneth and Fern (Trotter) Glick. In his late teens, Ronald enlisted in the United States Navy. He served his country faithfully until his honorable discharge on March 23, 1967.
Ronald spent much of his working career in the transportation field as a truck driver.
He had a lifelong passion for cars and horses.
Left to honor and celebrate Ronald’s memory include his four children, Shane Glick of Mystic, Iowa, James (Stephanie) Glick of Moravia, Iowa, Tonya Fronte, and Brennon Boone; seven grandchildren, Quinton Hiatt, Isabel Glick, Paige Boone, Elisha Glick, Sierra Glick, Cam Mullen, and Amanda Glick; two great grandchildren, Genesis Glick and Henley Hiatt; five siblings, Johnny Glick, Danny (Nancy) Glick, Randy Glick, Sam (Mary) Glick, and Linda Constable; as well as other family members, including nieces and nephews.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Fern Glick; and a brother, Donnie Glick.
Ronald’s life will be celebrated with a public visitation at Lange Funeral Home in Moravia, Iowa on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 12-8 PM, with the family receiving friends from 6-8 PM. A private graveside service with military rites will take place at a later date. Memorials have been established to the family of Ronald Glick, to be determined at a later date, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, C/O Glick Family, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
